How do I love thee?
Let me count the cans:
1 and 2 to cure the blues
Cherry Coke and Mountain Dew
It would have been three, you see,
but I lost my change to you-
faulty, gluttonous machine!
(So Sad!)
3 and 4, because I'm bored
Sleep will bother me no more
Now I can watch Newlyweds,
and maybe hold back a snore
Awake for weeks, who needs meds?
(No Naps!)
5 and 6 are just for kicks
I'm a fan, not an addict!
I doubt that drugs taste as good
Although my blood's got a twitch,
I wouldn't stop if I could!
(Canned Crack!)
7, 8, I'm feeling great
Think I'll make caffeine my mate
Did taxes for years to come,
wrote a book about a plate,
then baked, and it's only 1:00!

9 and 10, I fear the end
I may have lost count again
Head feels like an anvil hit
"Maybe just one more, and then--"
Dead now, but it was worth it!

Screw all those on DA who don't like rhyming poetry.
It's fun. I don't rhyme all the time (hehehe) but this one just needed it.
Oh, and I appologize in advance to those who watch the Newlyweds or just like Jessica Simpson in general. I'm not a fan. And, no, I have never seen the show. Lets keep it that way.

It sounds like something that could be made into a song on Sesame Street. Therefore since Sesame Street songs are awesome, so is this poem.
